The map you see displays the aggregate need for treatment for all diseases combined. These diseases include HIV/AIDS, TB, malaria, lymphatic filariasis, onchoriasis, schistosomiasis, hookworm, roundworm, and whipworm. By clicking on a country on the map, you can view its specific need for treatment for these diseases. Different drugs and combinations of drugs are having different degrees of success in combating these different diseases. The first graph illustrates the impact of key drugs on each of these diseases.
